For twenty years now, you have wandered the lands of Legend, seeking your fortune wherever the wind takes you. You have seen much of the world over the years and have gained an enviable amount of life experience. 

As soon as you came of age, your father, the Crusader Elim, took you to the lands of Outremer, where, under his command, you rose to captain in the army. Your military career did not last long, though your father wanted you to follow in his footsteps. The gift of sorcery inherited from your mother, the sorceress Limena, urged to manifest, and so you left the captain’s red mantle and headed deep into the lands of the Ta’ashim peoples to the Sultanate of Opalar. 

There, under the guidance of the wizard Morran ben Ahmed, you learned the secret craft of the sorcerers. The thoughts of the long hours spent reading ancient parchments under the scorching desert sun still fill your lonely nights like slowly smouldering embers. 

Your adventures continue here. 200 paragraphs will tax you to master both mystic and martial arts as you explore the Lands of Legend.

Based on the Blood Sword gamebook series, you'll find similar mechanics here or play as a standalone if this is your first journey within.
